e-Optimization Forums Code of Conduct
E-Optimization.com Forums provide a community meeting place to discuss optimization concepts, technologies, applications, and related issues. We welcome your participation and we encourage you to invite your friends and associates interested in optimization to join our community. We want your visit to be informative and enjoyable. Your participation and input are crucial to the community's vibrancy and success. Please send your comments and suggestions to the e-Optimization.com Webmaster.

E-Optimization.com seeks to facilitate communication about optimization and related topics in an environment of professionalism and mutual respect. Forums are open to all participants and visitors subject to the following code of conduct:

  1. Keep discussion topical. Participation should be topical to the Forum in which you are participating. Further, you agree to not disrupt or inhibit the participation of others in any manner.
  2. Be yourself. You agree to represent yourself only and to not impersonate another person or misrepresent any entity, company, organization, or affiliation. You also agree not to disguise or manipulate the origin of any content you post to or transmit to or through the site.
  3. Your contribution is public and your sole responsibility. All content, including text, data, software, sounds, pictures, video, or other material, is the sole responsibility of the party contributing the content. By posting content, you warrant that you have all of the legal rights necessary to post your content and that it will not infringe on the rights of any third party(s). Site host(s) and sponsor(s) accept no responsibility or liability for Forum content.
  4. Your participation and content contribution must be lawful. You agree to not upload, post, email, or otherwise transmit content that infringes any patent, trademark, trade secret, copyright, confidential information, or other proprietary rights. Your participation must not violate any applicable local, state, provincial, national, or international law. Recognizing the global nature of this forum, you agree to comply with all applicable laws and export regulations governing transmission of information, software, and technical data.
  5. No damaging or harmful content. You agree not to upload, post, email or otherwise transmit any information, software, computer code, file, or program that contains a virus, trojan horse, worm, or other harmful component. .
  6. Keep discussion civil. No flaming. You agree to not upload, post, email, or otherwise transmit content that is unlawful, harmful, threatening, libelous, sexually explicit, vulgar, defamatory, invasive of another's privacy, hateful, or racially, ethnically, or otherwise objectionable. Host reserves the right to remove objectionable content at host's sole discretion. Violators may have their visitation rights permanently terminated at the sole discretion of site host.
  7. No spamming or commercials. You agree not to upload, post, email, or otherwise transmit unsolicited or unauthorized advertising, promotional materials, chain letters or other forms of solicitation. Host recognizes that many forum discussions will discuss specific products, solutions, and companies and host actively encourages such discussion if conducted in a professional manner that is not intended to achieve direct financial gain. Mass marketing is prohibited.
  8. Don't collect names. You agree not to use e-Optimization.com site or services to compile a directory or list of participants.
  9. E-Optimization.com host reserves the right to remove any and all objectionable content as described above at its sole discretion.
